My daughter was born without her right ear. Due to this pathology, she is poorly oriented in space, does not understand where a sound comes from. She even gets disoriented in the house as soon as I leave the room. Her speech also suffers from her deafness: Darina speaks individual words, even phrases, but she drops many sounds; she’s not able to repeat them. Last year, after a cold, she developed otitis media, an infection of the middle ear. As a result, she stopped hearing for a time. Darina was in complete silence. It was scary! We went through a lot of medical exams, looking for doctors who could help. In our country, unfortunately, there weren’t any such people, but specialists in an American clinic are ready to help my daughter. They will perform an operation, during which her hearing will be restored and the auricle will be formed in one step. The doctors say that it’s necessary to operate on Darina’s ear as soon as possible. This is Darina's only chance for a healthy future! But we cannot afford the cost of the operation on our own, it is just too much. Please help our baby girl!
