Arina is our only and long-awaited daughter! We wanted to see her grow up, go to preschool and then to school. But joyful expectations turned into a fear for her life. We noticed a strange glow in our little peanut’s eyes. At first, the doctors didn’t find anything wrong. It was only in late January that she was examined and given a frightening diagnosis: a malignant tumor of the right eye. And then four more places from which cancer could spread were found in the left eye. We were immediately offered the option of removing Arina’s right eye but we decided to do everything possible to save our daughter and went to Germany. At first, the doctors there also talked about surgery, but then decided that there’s still a chance to save her eye. After our baby successfully withstood two courses of chemotherapy, we came to the United States, to the very clinic that is considered a leader in the treatment of retinoblastoma. Having examined our Arisha, professor said that thanks to the intra-arterial chemotherapy there is a good chance of not just saving her eye, but also her vision. Volunteers and friends helped raise money for the diagnostic testing and the first round of chemotherapy, but three more rounds of chemotherapy are required. We are asking for your help in paying for them, we ourselves cannot do it!

There’s a chance
